Munshi Ganga Prasad was a police inspector during the rule of the Raj. He had two wives. He had one daughter from his first wife who was married into the family which settles at Jakkanpur. He had 3 sons and a daughter from his second wife whose family details are given below. The daughter from the second wife became a childless widow at a very early age and stayed with Dr. Damodar Prasad and other family members at their Dariyapur residence.
